Over the last few months I spent my days trying to become the best version of myself. Ironically, one of the latest social media trends, is learning how to become ‘that girl’. The easiest way for me to start this transformation was by starting to focus on myself. I wanted to feel my best both physically and mentally. I slowly started to develop small everyday habits that began to pay off in a big way. Slowly, without even realizing it, I became ‘that girl’ and I’m going to show you exactly how you can do it too!

Win the Morning

Winning the morning is half the battle to become ‘that girl’. My productivity significantly improved when I started waking up early and making the most of my mornings. I have crafted the perfect morning routine that is proven to lead to success each and every day. The key to winning the morning is to focus on you and only you. Monday through Friday I wake up at the same time everyday and head straight to the gym. I follow that up with a shower, my skin care routine, a filling breakfast, and of course my cup of coffee. After some light journaling, reviewing my planner, and scrolling through my emails, I am ready to get to work.

Sweat It Out

Starting my mornings off with a sweat sesh has had a huge impact on me and my day. I owe a lot of my success in becoming the best version of myself to the gym. Working out is the greatest wake up call I can ask for. Some days I forget I haven’t even had my coffee yet. ‘Sweating it out’ has become therapeutic for me. Working out helps me clear my head, wake up my mind, and allows me to get focused for the day a head. In a way, ‘sweating it out’ has become my way of clearing my mind of any thoughts that are standing in my way of being productive for the oncoming day.

Set Your Intentions

Once I work out, shower, and have a filling breakfast, I sit down with my cup of coffee and set my intentions for the day. This involves journaling my goals, reviewing my planner and to-do list, and looking through my emails. I love doing this, especially on Mondays so that I can plan out my whole week! Creating a goal list for yourself, both long and short term, can be very motivating. There is something so satisfying about checking off your goals after you complete them. Setting your intentions is also a great time to manifest what you want for yourself. This short time with myself every morning was the perfect way to focus all of my attention on bettering myself.

Believe in You

Lastly, I leave you with this: the key to becoming ‘that girl’, is to believe in you. You have to want it to achieve it. It takes commitment to stay focused and on track to achieve your goals but if you want it bad enough, you can do it. Set your intentions, work towards your goals, and focus on you! I promise you, the work and commitment will be worth it. I created a check list for you below to help you get started! Be sure to save this blog and checklist to Pinterest for safe keeping!
